JUNK-A-SAURUS🏠 HomeThe honest answer: junk removal in Salt Lake City is priced by how much space your stuff takes up in our trailer. So you only pay for what we actually haul, and you get an upfront number before any work starts. Here's what moves that number.
No hidden fees, no per-item surprises, and no charge to show up and quote. If it's a single item, it usually lands in our lowest pricing tier. Text a photo of your pile to 801-516-9569 and we'll send back a real Salt Lake City price fast.
From downtown and Rose Park to the east-bench foothills, we offer same-day and next-day pickup and do 100% of the lifting. See what we cover on our Salt Lake City junk removal page.
The trailer is 8 feet by 10 feet by 4 feet. You are charged for the fraction of it your load fills — a quarter, a half, three quarters or full — with no minimum charge. That is the whole model, and it is why a photo is usually enough to quote from: the question being answered is "how much room does this take up", not "how many items are there".
A dump run is cheaper in fees and dearer in everything else. Salt Lake Valley Landfill, 6030 West California Avenue, Salt Lake City — (801) 541-4078 and Trans-Jordan Landfill, 10473 South Bacchus Highway (SR-111), South Jordan — (801) 971-1976 both charge by weight or load, both need you inside opening hours Monday to Saturday, and both require you to load and unload by hand — twice, if it takes two trips. Add a truck rental if you do not own one. It is the right answer for a small, light, single-trip load and rarely for anything else.
Whether the number is firm before work starts. Pricing by volume is standard; revising the volume upward once the trailer is loaded is not. Ours is given before anything is lifted and does not change mid-job.
