JUNK-A-SAURUSRusty old trampoline taking over the yard? Junk-A-Saurus disassembles and hauls away trampolines of any size across the Salt Lake Valley. We take apart the frame, springs and netting, haul it all, and clean up the spot.
*Some household chemicals/hazardous materials can't be hauled, ask us and we'll point you the right way.
A trampoline is a spring-tensioned steel frame. That is the whole problem. The mat and the springs are under load, the frame is bolted or pinned together and has often been outside for years, and the fixings seize. People start one of these with a socket set on a Saturday and stop halfway with a half-dismantled frame and 96 springs in the grass.
The frame and springs are steel and go to a scrap recycler. The mat, netting and foam padding are not recyclable in any stream available here and are disposed of. If the trampoline is genuinely still in good condition, say so before we start — it may be worth passing on rather than scrapping.
Size (a 15ft round and a large rectangle are different jobs), whether it is anchored into ground or concrete, how rusted the fixings are, whether it is in a fenced back garden with only a pedestrian gate, and whether the enclosure poles are sunk in. Most single trampolines sit in the smallest load tier.
The spring tension is not trivial and a spring released under load will move fast. If you have already started taking one apart and stopped, leave it as it is — we will finish it.
